Don't worry! Our teachers are trained to deliver the Read, Write Inc programme and we realise that you may not have the phonics knowledge they have, that's why we have put these resources together to support your understanding and your child's learning. 

We suggest you start by watching this film for parents:

Try to start at the right place for your child. They will be at either Set 1, Set 2 or Set 3 Speed sounds stage. You can check which stage your child is at by emailing your child's teacher.

Once you know, choose the appropriate set and use the resources given.

Below is a useful phonics audio guide to all the sounds. It is really important to say the sounds clearly to help your child learn them. By saying them correctly, your child will be able to blend them together accurately to read words.
