A Uniform for Learning, Play, and Every Day
At St Mary’s, we want our pupils to arrive at school ready to learn, comfortable in their clothes, and proud of their school identity. We have listened to feedback regarding the rising costs of school-specific clothing and the logistical "shuffle" of switching between regular uniform and PE kits.
We have a single, all-day, every-day uniform.
The Uniform
Item Specification
Top Layer Navy blue jumper with logo, Navy blue hoodie with school logo or fleece top with school logo.
Base Layer Light blue polo shirt
Bottoms Plain black bottoms (includes trousers, jogging bottoms, or leggings). Shorts may be worn if tailored.
Footwear Plain black shoes or trainers (must be fully black).
Variation Blue and white checked summer dresses may be worn in warmer weather.
How to Source the Uniform
To keep costs as low as possible, we are proposing two flexible options:
Jewellery (other than a watch or plain earrings) should not be worn. If your child has pierced ears, they must be able to remove them themselves for P.E. If your child is wishing to have their ears pierced, we encourage you to have them done before the six week holidays. Make-up and acrylic/false nails are not allowed.
