Pupil Premium

In April 2011 the Government Introduced a Pupil Premium to raise achievement among disadvantaged children.  It ensures that the school can supply additional support and equal opportunity to every disadvantaged child to help them reach their potential.  There are three categories of children that qualify for Pupil Premium:

• Children who are eligible for free school meals
• Looked after children
• Armed Forces children

The Government now requires all schools to publish information on their website.
